Maryland Day

Here's the world's largest strawberrry shortcake, or at least as much of it as I could fit in the photo. It was really yummy, especially the filling.

They were also giving out fresh ice cream at the School of Agriculture.


Dee said it was "better than Cold Stone" (which is already pretty good, in my opinion), and I'd say she was right on the money! It's funny that for all the time I spent at College Park, I never knew about the agriculture part. I guess it was a consequence of going to night school: it was so dark, I didn't notice the school had a barn!

We saw a few of the new Testudo statues.


This one was my favorite. It had some helpful instructions written on it too:
