Oh really?

You Are Bert

Extremely serious and a little eccentric, people find you loveable - even if you don't love them! You are usually feeling: Logical - you rarely let your emotions rule you. You are famous for: Being smart, a total neat freak, and maybe just a little evil. How you live your life: With passion, even if your odd passions (like bottle caps and pigeons) are baffling to others.

Eerily accurate, except for the "neat freak" part.

I did a bit of sloppy spinning last week.
This is a single ply spun hastily from some Lorna's Laces Wool Top in the Sherbet colorway that I found at Stitch DC. I was really surprised to find it there since they don't sell any spinning gear at all as far as I know. Maybe they meant for people people to knit strips of it unspun.
That would probably be really nice and fluffy, or very sturdy if felted. Anyhoo, in this case uneveness is a good thing because this slubby yarn is intended for ISE4.
Voila, a modified Loopy and Luscious in progress!

I've also done some sock knitting on the train:
These socks I showed before are for my brother's Not-Just-a-Friend, since they're both going hiking in Whatchamacallit State Park or wherever it is. This is the Mock Croc sock (moc croc soc??) in Paton's Kroy Socks in "Paintbox." It's much brighter than the colors I usually work with. But I kinda like it.

Nice job on the spinning Mia. I bought a wheel at the trade days 2 weekends ago but I now need a teacher. I also have been gone for 10 days being with my DD and new GS.

You have been busy! And don't worry, I won't ask about the 1 1/2 presentations....LOL!

I love how the pink yarn spun up - it looks fabulous!

See you at MDS&W I hope!
